AWARE Week Dive & Beach Clean Up Campaign - Aliso Beach

We are conducting a "Pacific Beach Hopping Campaign" every morning at a different beach in Southern California. Divers will arrive, check in, then either beach clean up or dive the beach for clean up. We'll submit our data each day and dispose of it.

• "Pacific Beach Hopping Campaign" - Saturday 25th @ Aliso Beach
• Throughout AWARE Week 2021, divers and their families will descend upon each listed beachhead at 7am.
• After a quick registration, shoreline folks can conduct clean up activities on the beach while divers prepare to dive to retrieve handheld debris on each site.
• This debris will be collected, accounted for and sent to the nearest facility for processing.

Divers wanting to take part in the underwater clean up side of this event must be Open Water Certified. If you are not a qualified diver, you can still join us and help out with the beach clean up.
