JD Reinbott, affectionately known as the Coral Qween, is a PADI Dive Instructor, marine conservationist, coral restoration practitioner, and advocate for queer rights. A lifelong ocean enthusiast, JD has transformed his passion into a career at the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation. Through hands-on coral restoration experiences, compelling storytelling, and impactful social media campaigns, he inspires community members and visitors in the Florida Keys to protect our underwater world.
In addition to his conservation work, JD champions diversity and inclusion within the marine field, striving to amplify underrepresented voices and ideas. Whether restoring reefs or advocating for equality, JD is dedicated to making waves for a more inclusive and sustainable future.
