Ventoteneis known as a tourist resort and pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea, embraces a stretch of sea that goes from Naples to the Circeo. Home to one of the regional marine reserves, the Riviera di Ulisse Park, offers 4 areas (Gianola and Monte di Scauri, Monte Argento natural monument, Villa di Tiberio natural monument and Torre Capovento coast, Monte Orlando) in 4 different municipalities (Gaeta , Formia, Minturno and Sperlonga) to be discovered by practicing snorkeling, freediving or scuba diving. The area lends itself well to any type of diving, from the first experience with the DSD, to open water, up to technical diving, with depths reaching 40 meters. There are numerous marine species, nudibranchs, morays, conger eels, groupers, corvine, octopus, lobsters.
Ventotene famous for the particular microclimate that surrounds it, protected by the high chain of the Aurunci Mountains (seat of the homonymous Regional Park of the Aurunci Mountains), enjoys mild temperatures. This makes it particularly favorable for any water sport, including scuba diving and free diving activities that do not stop throughout the year.
