2020 PADI Instructor Update Online
The PADI Instructor Update Online program is designed to help you regain Teaching status as a PADI Instructor after a gap in membership of four or more years.
What is required?
Previously, Instructors who have lapsed for four years or more were required to attend either a Status Update with a Course Director, or complete as much as another OWSI course or IDC and IE. Instead, you now also have the option to complete the following – online and in your own time, before end 2020:
- Download the digital version of the current PADI Instructor Manual
- Review all issues of the PADI Training Bulletins published since you were last in Teaching status
- Complete the current Member Forum Online
- Complete the 25 question Instructor Update Quick Review and Instructor Statement
After completing the Instructor Update Online, you will be eligible for Teaching status pending proof of Professional Liability Insurance (if required in the country where you will be teaching).
