"Octopus Hole is an undeveloped dive site right off the side of the road a few miles north of Hoodsport and close to Sund Rock. The attraction of this site is the long, shallow wall that runs off shore. The typical top ranges 15-20’ deep and the bottom from 35-60’. The wall itself is inhabited by a large variety of creatures, including Giant Pacific Octopus, Wolf Eels, and Squat Lobsters (which look like a shrimp). The Northern Most portion of the wall has some large crevices and holes that house Octopus and Wolf Eels. Toward the Southern end of the wall you’ll find more delicate life.
