The Dive Against Debris part of the day
High Water on the 29th July is at 9pm.
To ensure we have plenty of time to actually do an underwater clean up during daylight hours, to ensure safety, we will be getting kitted up ready to get in the water about 2-3 hours before high tide, so around 6-7pm.
Exact time to be confirmed when we have diver numbers.
This will allow us to be doing the underwater clean up whilst we still have some daylight, on the incoming tide, therefore always pushing us to shore, not out!
We suggest meeting at 4:30pm for a briefing and getting ready.
We will run the dive for 45minutes to 1 hour.
Whilst the temperature in July will allow you to dive in a wetsuit or drysuit, we recommend and advise bringing some dive gloves to make sure you look after yourself.
Of course, if the weather determines that it is not safe for divers, the beach clean can carry on above the water line.
