Sail Rock is one huge pinnacle that rises from the sea bed and juts out of the water. The waters around Sail Rock are overflowing with colour and diversity. Inquisitive Batfish school and pose for photographs. Everywhere you look there are huge Malabar Groupers, some hidden under overhangs, others on the move around the dive site. Schools of Chevron and Pickhandle Barracuda hang just off the pinnacle in the blue and Whale Sharks feed here regularly in season. For macro lovers, there are shrimps, crabs, Wart Slugs and Nudibranchs.
"The Chimney", a vertical swim-through, makes for an interesting buoyancy challenge. Entering at 18m, you will see Groupers and Soldierfish hiding in the darkness as you rise, in single file towards the exit and a garden of Lobed Pore Coral at around 8m.
