Ekenabben Wreck Cemetery The area with Wrecks consists of about 15 ships from the period 1550-1650 which were deliberately sunk as a barrier towards Karlskrona, late 17th century. As part of the defense, the "Russians" did not enter the back way to Karlskrona. Time has left its mark and caused the wrecks to have coincided and it is difficult to distinguish wrecks from wrecks, but a closer look and some knowledge of the wrecks gives you a good picture of how large several of the wrecks once were…

Lots of whale bones and planks from wrecks but can clearly see that there was once a ship. Very nice dive site if you are interested in old wooden wrecks and a bit of local history Not always as you dive on wrecks from the 17th century Bottom conditions; sand and stone from the pier a little way out until the depth curve begins, there is quite a lot of sediment on the wreck which can make visibility difficult. The maximum depth is 14 meters. Diving depth approx. 7-10m
