We rarely have a dive without some shark encounter. When diving at the Banks, you can have close encounters with Tiger sharks, Hammerheads, Blacktips, Ragged-tooth sharks, Bull sharks and giant Guitar sharks. It’s also possible to spot Great Whites, Threshers, Copper sharks, Duskies, and Sandbar sharks, although not as often. Dolphins are also regularly seen throughout the year, and Humpback whales give us a show during their migration season on our way to the site. We have amazing underwater encounters with these majestic animals.
Declared a marine protected area in 2019 Protea Banks has exceptional diversity and importance for many species
