Kontiki also has its own famous large shoal of Sardines on its house-reef and hundreds of reef fish and corals. The area around Kontiki is roped off so boats cannot moor and fishing is not allowed. The corals are in very good order and the wall is great whether you go North or South. You may also see our house reef turtles, barracudas, Lionfish, Snake eels, Octopus and Squid. Every now and again a Whaleshark passes by and the occasional visit by Sunfish. Dives in the daytime are awesome and Night Dives are always a memorable event. At night the reef is alive with Big crabs, Shrimp, Shellfish, Octopus and tons more!
