Located just off the coast of Isla Mujeres, MUSA has become a major dive site that draws thousands of visitors every year. Started by Roberto Diaz and Jason deCaire Taylor, it has now evolved to include many other artists. While the majority of these statues are found within the area called MUSA, there are others dotted throughout the Manchones Reefs.

MUSA is roughly divided into two sections.
The first section contains some little houses, a large ring that you can swim through, some time bombs, and then there is a 5-minute swim to the next section.
The second section is where you find the famous Silent Evolution with over 450 statues modeled on local people and fishermen. There are two full-sized cars and some statues with their heads in the sand. At the very end of the dive are some small pagoda-style structures.
