Turtle Pass is the first site west of Collier’s Channel and a prime spot for Loggerhead turtles—hence the name. Located on Grand Cayman’s north-eastern corner, it’s exposed to challenging conditions, but in good weather, it’s a spectacular dive.

Upon exiting into the open blue, keep an eye out for Loggerhead turtles, especially during the spring mating season. These giants sometimes approach divers, possibly mistaking them for a mate—either their eyesight is poor, or they aren’t too picky! Lucky divers with cameras have captured unforgettable close-ups of these curious encounters.
