No site looks quite like River of Sands! A flat sandy bottom suddenly drops at a 45-degree angle, flowing through narrow channels in the reef wall toward the main drop-off, creating breath-taking cascading rivers of sand.
With the top of the wall at just 50 feet, this site is accessible to all divers. Its sheltered location also provides protection from strong currents and waves, making for an easy yet visually stunning dive.
Follow the rivers down the reef and look for Razor Fish hovering just above the sand. When startled, they vanish into their burrows in an instant, leaving only a puff of sand—like a magician disappearing in a cloud of smoke!
Swimming along the wall reveals overhangs, ledges, and gaps to explore. If conditions allow, the divemaster may lead you through a narrow swim-through, where the small light ahead widens until you emerge onto the sunlit reef—an unforgettable moment!
