Deep Cove Park is the easternmost beach in North Vancouver. It is accessed via the Dollarton Hwy exit from the Ironworkers Bridge and continuing straight onto Deep Cove Road. The entrance to the park is located to the south of the Deep Cove Kayak Centre and parking is available at the parking lot across the street from the park. Deep Cove Park is an on-leash dog area with a trail that leads to its natural beaches, and a picnic area. Park amenities include picnic tables, washrooms, pet waste bags, and bins for garbage and recyclable containers. Due to limited visibility, Deep Cove should be considered an advanced dive. Underwater features include a sandy bottom that gradually slopes to 40 meters and beyond, making it a good site for Tec Divers looking to go deeper than recreational dive limits. Sea life includes crabs, urchins, shellfish, sea stars, sea cucumbers and a variety of small fishes like gunnels, perch, sanddabs, and rockfish.
