The Steamer Ship SS Baron Dechmont is a vessel of British origin who was developed during the II World War, with the aim of being a merchant ship, but with a warlike possibility of defense.
However, on January 3, 1943, it was shot down by the U-507, a German submarine sent to the Brazilian coast to pressure Brazil to take a position in the war.
