Details

Non-profit Marine Conservation Philippines offers volunteer divers from any agency the chance to participate in underwater marine research. Non-divers can learn on the program through the PADI range of courses. Volunteers must be aged 18-60, and be able to commit six weeks minimum. Volunteer packages and divemaster internships are detailed on our website. Typically divers do ten to twelve dives in a week.

Marine Conservation Philippines (MCP), located in Zamboanguita, Negros, is a premier PADI Five Star Conservation Facility dedicated to marine conservation, research, and education in the Philippines. Situated just south of Dauin, a renowned scuba diving destination, MCP offers a unique platform for divers, volunteers, and researchers to actively contribute to the preservation and restoration of marine ecosystems in the Coral Triangle, one of the world’s most biodiverse marine regions.

As a non-profit organization, MCP combines PADI scuba diving courses with impactful marine conservation initiatives. From reef monitoring and coral rehabilitation to sea turtle conservation and sustainable fishing practices, MCP is at the forefront of efforts to protect and restore the delicate balance of marine life along the coasts of Negros Oriental. Their work plays a crucial role in safeguarding the region’s diverse ecosystems, including vibrant coral reefs, mangroves, and seagrass beds, which support a wide variety of marine species.

MCP's PADI dive training programs cater to all levels of divers, from beginners to advanced divers, with a special focus on marine conservation education. As a PADI Five Star facility, MCP provides high-quality scuba diving instruction in combination with hands-on conservation training, offering courses such as the PADI Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster, alongside specialty courses like Coral Reef Conservation and Fish Identification. MCP also offers PADI technical diver courses, designed for divers who want to explore deeper environments and push the boundaries of recreational diving while focusing on safety and conservation.

With its proximity to the famous dive sites of Dauin and Apo Island, MCP serves as an ideal base for divers looking to explore the underwater wonders of the Philippines while making a meaningful contribution to marine conservation. Whether you are a passionate diver, a student seeking field experience, or someone committed to ocean preservation, Marine Conservation Philippines is the place where adventure meets conservation. Dive into a purpose-driven experience and help protect the future of our oceans.
