True North Adventure Cruises

Diving and snorkelling is one of our favourite things to do. And we’ve been doing it for a long time. True North first ventured out to the Rowley Shoals way back in 1987. In fact, we used to do more diving and snorkelling than anything else and it’s never stopped being one of our most popular activities. And that’s probably because we go to destinations that are revered around the world for their coral and fish life. Places such as Australia’s south coast, the Abrolhos Islands, Ningaloo Reef, the Rowleys, Raja Ampat and Papua New Guinea. Not a bad line-up eh?

Every destination is different and has its own special appeal. The South Coast is absolutely the best place to see marine fauna such as sea lions and orcas. The Abrolhos is believed to be home to as many as a dozen historic shipwrecks – some which have not yet been discovered! Ningaloo boasts coral gardens just a fin-kick off the beach whilst less than 500 people a year are lucky enough to experience just how good it is at the Rowley Shoals. The Rajas are in a region often referred to as the “home of corals” and ask any diver about Papua New Guinea – we’re pretty sure they will respond with something similar to “I have always wanted to go there.”

Diving and snorkelling is also pretty easy on the TRUE NORTH and TRUE NORTH II. That’s because we have multiple adventure boats that allow us to group both divers and snorkelers according to experience. Even if you have never put your head under the water before – we can easily introduce you to another world. And at the same time – we can also challenge the most experienced divers onboard!
