The Spirit of Freedom is a 37-meter steel-hulled liveaboard designed for long-range cruising in the Coral Sea.

Equipped with electronic stabilizers, it ensures smooth sailing, while heavy-duty marine diesel engines provide reliability and low noise levels. The vessel undergoes an annual four-week maintenance period to maintain top condition and carries a 1B Queensland survey, allowing access to all Coral Sea reefs and islands.

The dive deck features individual stations for 24 guests, with dry storage, a personal storage box for every two divers, and air and Nitrox whips delivering 32% Nitrox. Facilities include a camera wash tub, a small worktable, and an air gun. Freshwater showers and deck towels are available after each dive. The dive team, led by the Trip Director and supported by experienced instructors and a divemaster, ensures a safe and enriching dive experience.

Guest accommodations include 11 air-conditioned cabins with en-suite bathrooms, serviced daily. Four different cabin styles cater to varying preferences. The spacious dining saloon serves as a briefing area, a lounge, and a media room, equipped with a widescreen TV, a DVD library, and free wireless internet when in range.

The galley delivers four meals a day, featuring fresh ingredients and catering to dietary preferences with prior notice. A complimentary glass of Australian wine or soft drink is included with dinner. The top deck provides shaded and open areas with sun loungers and lounge seating, ideal for unwinding between dives or enjoying an alfresco BBQ. The forward lounge offers comfortable couches, a coffee machine, marine reference books, and a camera workstation.

The ship's bar stocks Australian and New Zealand wines, beer, spirits, and soft drinks, with an honor system for purchases. Alcohol brought on board is not permitted.
